Dean’s Club donors make an enormous difference across the College. Their generous support lies at the heart of many of the College’s most exciting and innovative programs, from interdisciplinary courses in emerging fields to international collaboration that challenge participants personally and professionally.
The club was established to recognize those alumni and friends who have contributed immeasurably to the College’s ability to offer the highest degree of excellence in education. A donor is eligible for Dean’s Club status when their cumulative giving total reaches $500, including pledges and matching gifts.
Message from the Dean
The College is blessed to have such amazing friends—alumni and friends who share our dedication to education, to creating new knowledge, to applying this knowledge to build a better world. These friends give of their time and talent, and yes –their money too. Dean’s Club donors were primarily responsible for the more than $274 million in commitments allocated to the College during Campaign UW: Creating Futures—the fundraising effort dedicated to creating expanded opportunities for students and faculty. That tremendous outpouring of support resulted in the establishment of 93 new faculty endowments along with 316 new named endowments benefitting student scholarships and program support. What really inspires me is seeing and hearing and listening to Dean’s Club donors and watching them interact with our faculty, staff and students at our exclusive events.
